The update on the 10th June used by these newspapers to create these articles is included below for your information. In the last 24 hours the FCO & British Ambassador here in Turkey have spoken out against these 'Alarmist & Inaccurate reporting' confirming that the travel advice for Turkey remains somewhat unchanged.
The FCO do warn against travel on the Turkish - Syrian Border (approximately 1400km from the resorts we currently market property in) the remaining parts of the vast country of Turkey remain under 'See our travel advice before travelling' this is for reasons such as risk of demonstrations in large cities such as Istanbul - specifically on certain days & anniversaries and earthquake risks. The FCO also points out that 'Over 2,500,000 British nationals visit Turkey every year. Most visits are trouble-free.' (https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/turkey June 15).
With kind regards and happy holiday wishes
